Gathering new leads and contacts on your website allows you to dramatically increase your audience for Connect text campaigns. Baker's Collect tool is simple to customize and implement, allowing you to get a lead generation form onto your website within moments.
Access the Collect Setup Page
Collect can be set up within your Kitchen's Preferences page. Click the person-shaped icon on the top-right corner and then Preferences to begin.
Next, click Collect on the menu that appears on the left-hand side of the page.
Alternatively, use your dispensary ID within the following URL to hop right to your Collect setup page:
Customize the Collect Widget
The Collect widget is almost entirely customizable. Here's an example of what the embeddable tool looks like:
The first area of your Collect setup is called Brand.
Background Color - Feel free to use the exact hex code you'd like to for the background of the widget. This will allow you to make it blend seamlessly into your website. The example above includes the hex code for white.
Theme Color - As you can see on the example, the theme color shows on the left-hand circle as well as the submission button on the widget. Again, you can enter a hex code to match your company's branding on the dot or use the color wheel to search for a color.
Below Brand, you will see more areas to customize this widget under Options.
Header copy - The header shows on the left-hand side of the widget, announcing what the form actually is. If you have any type of club that people can enter, you may want to consider making the Header copy say something like, "Enter your phone number to join the Baker club!"
Incentive copy - This shows below the header on your Collect widget. You can specify a bit more about what filling out this form actually does to prospects here. To clarify, anyone who fills out the widget is entered into your Kitchen's database of contacts, allowing you to text them whenever you'd like.
Interest Options - People filling out the widget doesn't just let prospects or leads enter a phone number. They can also layer interests onto their profile right away, putting them into "buckets" for our filtered message. Enable any interest you'd like on the Interest Options drop-down menu.
Collection mode - Cell Phone Number and Email Address are the only two options here. We highly recommend keeping this set to Cell Phone Number. Baker is built to allow you to text people and, while email addresses are useful to have, collecting someone's phone number right away gives you an instant, direct way to contact them in a non-formal fashion.
Button copy - Change what the submission button says.
Success response copy - Once the form is filled out, this message will display.
After submission behavior - After someone fills the form out, you can choose to have the widget disappear (Hide widget after submission) or go back to its default state (Clear widget fields after submission).
Confirmation SMS - This message is sent automatically once someone fills the widget out.
The Message field contains the actual text. You have 160 characters of wiggle room here. You can then include a variety of links, including a Custom link to any destination you'd like. This gives you the opportunity to get eyes on your online menu or another important page of your website as soon as someone signs up to join your list.
If you want this text to send automatically, be sure to check the box on the right-hand side of the line before saving.
Default location - People can set their home state as they fill the widget out. The Default location is typically the state that your dispensary is in.
Embed code - Copy this code and share it with your web developer to get the Collect widget onto your website. We suggest getting it up right away as it's one of the easiest "wins" within the entire Kitchen. As soon as it's embedded, your contact list should start growing right away.
How it Looks
