Sometimes you may need to adjust a customer or patient's Loyalty points manually. Great examples of this include rewarding someone for referring a friend or, on the flip side, taking points away from someone who may have been trying to game the system.
Adjust Loyalty Points on the Customers Page
All manual Loyalty updates start on the Customers page in your Kitchen. Click Customers on the left-hand side of your Kitchen or update and bookmark the following URL:
Once there, search for that person's first name, last name, email address, or phone number in the Search... bar. Please note that phone numbers must be entered in this format:
If you include any other punctuation, such as parentheses and dashes, the search will fail. You can click into the line for the customer or patient you want to update to open his or her Customer Card.
Next, select the Activity tab. From there, click the Add Event button.
You'll want to keep the default of Bonus selected to add points. To remove points, click Bonus and then choose Deduction from the dropdown.
You'll need to type something in the Note field to save. Type the reason this person is gaining or losing points here.
Click the green checkmark button to apply the Bonus or Deduction. To cancel, hit the red X.
Once you've applied the update, you'll see a new line item appear with a trophy-shaped icon that reads Bonus. You can hover over the word Bonus to see the Note added to this event. When finished, click the turquoise SAVE! button below.
