Baker allows you to customize how the items from your sync source appear on the Baker menu. Sync settings ensure that products are in the correct category.
On the lower right side of the Menu page are sync options and sync settings. These allow you to customize how your menu syncs to Baker from your sync source.
Last sync time - This displays the last time the Baker menu synced to the sync source. Clicking the sync button will force the menu to manually re-sync.
Auto-sync - When auto-sync is on, the checkmark is purple. The menu will automatically sync to the sync source every 15-20 minutes. To turn it off, click the checkmark and it will turn to a red X. When it's off, the menu will only sync if you choose to do that manually. If you don't see the option to turn off auto-sync, it means you're on a sync where that has to be done on the backend by your CSM or Baker Support.
Override pricing on sync - When override pricing is on, the checkmark is purple and your product prices will always match the sync source. To turn it off, click the checkmark and it will turn to a red X. When it's off, you can manually adjust prices in Baker and your sync won't overwrite those changes.
Sync Settings - Baker detects the categories from the sync source and you can map them to the existing categories for your shop's public Baker menu. To ensure consistency the Baker categories are hardcoded and can't be adjusted.
