There are a few ways to customize your Checkin app experience that can't be found on the Checkin tab in your Kitchen.
To access these, go to Preferences by clicking the avatar (person-shaped button) in the top-right corner of your Kitchen. Select Preferences from the menu that pops up. Next, click Checkin on the small menu that appears on the lefthand side.
Interests (row 1) - Display up to 3 interests in the first row for customers to choose from. You can create custom interests relevant to your unique clientele by selecting Create New at the bottom of the list. This will prompt you to name the interest and select an icon to be associated with it.
Tip: Any custom interest that you build will generate a text messaging filter on your Connect page. If, say, you wanted to create a custom interest for an upcoming event you'll be hosting, list the event name under Custom Interest Name, select an icon to go with it, and save! Customers can opt into this interest while checking in and you can send them updates on the Connect page via the Filter By Account Preferences filter.
More interests (row 2) - Enable or disable a second row of interests. If it's enabled, select 3 more interests.
