Raffles are a great addition to your Checkin station if you want to create more incentive for customers and patients to check into one of your iPad stations. Shops often raffle off gift cards, concert tickets, store discounts, or a long list of other prizes and experiences. What you choose to raffle off will be dependent on your customer base's preferences!
Create a Raffle
Go to the Checkin tab on the lefthand menu in your Kitchen. Then, click New Drawing to create a new raffle.
Drawing Name - Name of the raffle. This will show when customers or patients are checking in on the iPad this raffle is associated with.
Description - This description will show, along with the Drawing Name, when people check in on this iPad.
Date - Set a start date and end date for the raffle if you'd like. You can leave both (or one) of these fields blank.
Entry Limits - Limit entry to one per person or one per checkin. One entry per person means that person checks in once, is entered once, and cannot be entered again.
One entry per checkin incentivizes customers or patients to check into that station multiple times. Each checkin will enter that person into the raffle once more, increasing his or her odds of winning.
Associate the Raffle to a Checkin Station
A raffle has to be associated with a Checkin station in order for customers or patients to enter. You can add a raffle to any Checkin station type. Click the gray square next to the Checkin station you want the raffle added to. Then, click into the No Raffle Association drop-down menu and select the raffle. You may want to edit the SMS copy if it's an In-Store or Event Checkin station to reflect that they've been entered.
Once you select the raffle, click SAVE!. You may need to restart the Checkin app to see this change reflected. If you're having any trouble with this, please reach out to our support team by using the turquoise button on the bottom-right corner of your Kitchen.
To remove the raffle, follow the same process, select No Raffle Association and save.
